a. Duration of Program
The duration of the course is four years for P.U.C Students and 3 years for Diploma students.

The students undergo this course will study the subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Engineering Mechanics, Strength of materials, Fluid mechanics and Machinery, , Surveying Structural Analysis and design, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil engineering Materials, Environmental Engineering and Water resource Engineering as core subjects and elective subjects like Remote sensing & GIS, Solid waste Management, earthquake engineering, bridge engineering, Rock Mechanics, Air pollution control, etc. The knowledge gained from these subjects will help the students to understand the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.
